I live in Santa Barbara. one of my friends lives in palmdale he comes here every Saturday and the he goes back to palmdale Sunday. My causin works as a sales man at a car dealership in San Diego. Is it economic if I go with my friends to palmdale (with his car) and then go to san diego from palmdale by Amtrak ( it takes 2:25 and costs $54) then take the car from my causin (that car that he found befor ) then drive to Santa Barbara ( It’ll takes 3:36 min and it 222.83 mile, like $50 costs for gas) and fix the car here and then sell it. I’m 19 years old new mechanic.
I think it’s not economic but I just wanted to know your idea and discus about it.
Thank You

For 1, If you don’t take the train or the Greyhound Bus, how ya gonna get to San Diego to drive a car back home?
Maybe you could just take the train straight from Santa Barbara to San Diego. Wouldn’t that be the most econimical for you? I think the Amtrak from Palmdale also requires you get on a bus or get a ride to downtown LA to catch the actual Amtrak train that heds for San Diego, unless you pay a lot extra to use the MetroRail from Palmdale…Check the Amtrak website for the info you need…..Good Luck!
