I’m Looking Forward To Move To Ca Or Washington D.c. I Need To Compare The Life Expenses. Any Idea?

1 Comment 18 February 2010

currrently I live in PA, close to Lancaster, in a small town. My wife is a nurse and we are looking to establish a new life in either CA (possibly LA or Orange County) or Washington D.C. I need to find out more about life expenses and where they need nurses more. If you know of a good website or if you have any ideas, please let me know.

  1. SomeInfo says:

Here is Washington, DC as far as I can remember that is a need for nurses in both Hospital and Doctors offices.
It is growing here in Northern Virginia, and everytime you turn around they have a new hospital going up. (Check out Loudoun County) 2nd fastest growing county in the country, high paying jobs, but the cost of living is high as well.
The cost of living in the DC Metro area is generally high. VA and DC are the higest. However, Maryland is cheaper and probably comparable to Lancaster.
    Good luck with your search.
