I been looking for houses, condos etc..and I always hear that you if spend under 700,000 u get a shack and I even hear that witha million u get a shack…I have found SOME truth to that but I’ve searched and have found SOME houses not to be in that case…..I seen a house in palmdale…around the same prices in santa clara…and they have decent sq..and 2-3 bedrooms…I am planning to work in california fo r amajor film co..record label etc…Id be fine using public transportation so it’d be easier to get around in downtown for work!

Palmdale is ridiculously far from Downtown LA. It will take you at least 2 hours to get to Downtown from Palmdale because of traffic. You can forget about public transportation here too because it is too spread out and there are few connections that will take you to downtown from Palmdale. It’ll probably take you 6 hours if you use public transportation.
you clearly have no clue what California is like .
or how big or diverse….
you need to rent,
till you have a clue what you are doing.
by the way the real estate market is crashing out here
