I am just wondering how long will this take?, and how much might it be? I am not planning to like buy stuff there just a motorcycle trip going around Lancaster and Athens, also if lets say I ride a Yamaha R6? will it be uncomfortable and will force me to stop in a couple of hundred miles? thanks

A 2700mi. trip on a motorcycle is quite an adventure. Even a conditioned, experienced rider would consider it a real test. Making the ride on a motorcycle that doesn’t have the amenities of a touring bike would make it even harder.
“Ball-parking” the gas mileage of your bike around 60mpg, you’ll probably need about $150 for gas. The trip, about five days, with a reasonable effort (no flower smelling). And that’s if you go alone. It’s safer not to, but slower.
P.S. I’d wait until spring to go. Have a good trip.
