In a few hours I’m flying from Port Huron Michigan to Palmdale California. Should I stay in California, or come back to Michigan?

LA sucks, San Bernardino sucks, Riverside kind of sucks, Orange County sucks, and Oakland sucks like a vacuum on Nitrogen oxide. Try going to the San Francisco-San Jose Area, or San Diego. Also give Monterrey a chance. You will not be disappointed

Find out for your self. Some people love Cali for different reasons. Some people leave Cali for the same reasons. I’d say live in both places and decide where you are happiest.
As for me, I don’t like the cold. Climate is important to me. I like the diversity of Cali but it is too busy for me.
You have to know what makes you happy. And go for it.
