What Can You Tell Me About Lancaster, Ca?
From Google Earth and Wikipedia, I’ve already gathered that the city’s population has increased dramatically in the past 30 years or so. I see that it’s near the Mojave Desert and Edwards Air Force Base. Is it considered primarily a bedroom town? Is there any major industry nearby? Is it considered upscale or down-market? Is it the kind of place where BMW’s are more common than Chevys? What sort of a racial mix is in the population? Since it’s inland, would it be more or less expensive to live there compared to the rest of the LA area? Does the public transportation network extend that far out? Is there any significant crime there? What’s the closest airport with scheduled passenger service?
I’m asking partially out of boredom and partially because I have a project which may take me out there within the next year or two for some on-site research. Thanks much for any assistance you may be able to provide. Throw anything at me.

Dude, I’m here. Living in this place is hot in the Summer and very cold in the Winter. Temperature this Summer is an average between 90-95 degrees in the afternoon and 63-68 in the evening. Winter gets cold and sometimes it snow! Back in March this year, the new fresh of snow gets heavier as I head outside. I couldn’t see everything maybe the visibility is low. Streets in Lancaster is not like San Fernando Valley. There’s Avenue H-L from east to west and 15th Street west from north to south. I enjoyed this place and don’t worry, no tumbleweeds rolling anywhere.
