My husband and I want to move near LA in the next 3 years. We were looking at homes and I was confused at the prices. LA homes and some surrounding cities have a high median home price. We finally found some affordable homes in Moreno Valley, Victorville and Palmdale. My question is: What is wrong with these places? Why are they so much cheaper and yet appear to be nice homes?

My friend needs an airport close to Palmdale, CA from Portland, OR
I only know about LAX and LGB.
Is there any other ones closer that she can take from PDX?

Know anywhere hiring? just like many people today, i got laid off 2 months ago and have been looking NON STOP for a job with no luck, anybody know of any jobs? i will take anything at this point.
