Palmdale is desert community, hot hot hot, basic suburbs life, LA is one of the biggest cities in US. we have everything and anything, from good -museums, clubs, movies, to bad -crime, earthquakes, poverty. But you said your were 24 I would move to LA and not even think about Palmdale. Look for a community with good schools–studio city, burbank, toluca lakes, even can find some cheap rentals in Beverly hills believe or not and great schools for the kid! gl and welcome to LA!
Palmdale? hahaha, hot, windy… cant stress enough about the wind! BORING BORING BORING… its all freakin desert! Also no way a good place to raise children, horrable schools, enough jobs because kids dont work hardly ever, lots of stores though… i dunno, have fun
