I was just in Hollywood last week when Pirates 2 released. I toured the blacksmith shop where they filmed parts of the movies! the word, directly from an employee was that it has already been filmed. Most of it was shot in Hollywood studios. The guy went through a long speech about how they use special effects to make it look like the movie was shot in other parts of the world. Although, parts of it were shot in the U.S. Virgin Islands, the Dominican Republic, and some other island (can’t remember the name, sorry). So far, they think the name is going to be: Pirates of the Caribbean 3: At World’s End. It’s going to be released 1 year after Pirates 2, the same way Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers, and Return of the King were filmed back to back and released a year apart.
they’ve already filmed it at the same time they filmed 2 its just being released a year later………………
filming resumes this summer (starting august) according to Johnny Depp in an interview with him in Newsweek.
i would assume: on a beach, on a boat, in a giant octopus.
I beleive that it has already been filmed, they are finishing visual effects.

It’s not done. I auditioned as an extra last week. Pirates2 was filmed in the caribbean, so it’s a good chance that 3 will be too.

Part 3 is finished already….its in the editing process as we speak…the movie will come out about the same time as Part 2 did…which is July.
yeah i think it will be like Summer 2007!
